Terms and conditions.

  1. Privacy – Any personal data you give to us will be processed in accordance with the law and our privacy policy. our privacy policy can be viewed at https://www.woodfarm.co.uk/privacy/
  2. Reservations –
    We will not accept any responsibility for errors arising from telephone requests. Cancellation or booking amendments must be notified in writing. Please make sure the information that you provide is correct. We accept your booking based on the information that is provided by you. It is your responsibility to check your booking confirmation.
    Macbennet Ltd reserves the right to refuse acceptance of a reservation or to terminate the visit of any person for whatever reason at their sole discretion. 
  3. Bookings –
    Holiday Homes and The Poplars – Reservations are normally for a minimum of one week from either Friday or Saturday at 4.00pm subject to unavoidable delays until Friday or Saturday at 10.00am. Short Breaks are either 3 or 4 nights arriving on a Friday or Monday only, available in low and mid-season. Please telephone for further details. For the consideration of all guests we operate a no smoking and no pet policy in all of our hire accommodation.Touring and Tent Pitches – During high season, reservations are normally for a minimum of 3 nights. If you wish to book 1 or 2 nights please telephone less than 4 days before arrival for availability.
    Standard pitches are for caravans with a maximum shipping length up to 7.2m and Motorhomes up to 6.8m.
    Premium pitches are for all units up to a maximum shipping length of 8m. 
    Tent pitches are for a maximum of 6m x 6m and pitched on bark chippings.
    Caravans larger than the sizes stated and supplied by you will not be accommodated. 
    All Motorhomes and caravans must be fully converted for sleeping and cooking.
    To comply with Health & Safety regulations you must pitch according to the instructions given to you on arrival.
    If you pitch incorrectly you will be instructed to move. It is recommended that customers with large motorhomes or caravans phone in advance for availability, due to a limited number of suitable pitches. A gap must be maintained between touring units to comply with fire regulations and for safety reasons there are restrictions on the number of tents and other objects permitted on individual pitches. Gazebos are only permitted if used instead of an awning. Specific pitches cannot be reserved. We will try to meet any special requests i.e. with another party, awning annexes for sleeping, close to shower block, however they are subject to availability and cannot be guaranteed.
  4. Payment of your holiday balance –
    For holidays taken in our Holiday Homes or Poplars the balance is due not less than 28 days before the start of your holiday. If the balance is not received within 28 days of the commencement of the holiday we reserve the right to cancel the booking. Final balance payment can be made by Credit / Debit card or BACS payment. We no longer accept cheques.
    For Touring and Tent pitches the balance is due on arrival. Payment on arrival can be made by Credit / Debit card or cash. We no longer accept cheques.
    All bookings – Deposits are non-refundable. You may not transfer your booking to another person & you may only make a booking if you are at least 18 years old. No refunds are offered if you leave prior to your departure date.
  5. Insurance –
    May we remind you that your booking is a legally binding contract. We strongly recommend that you take out holiday cancellation insurance to cover your booking and any deposits paid.
  6. Arrival and Departure –
    Holiday Homes and The Poplars – The period of your stay is from 4.00pm on the day of arrival to 10.00am on the day of departure. We try to have all Holiday Homes and The Poplars ready as early as possible, but cannot guarantee access before 4.00pm. Please report to Reception on your arrival and advise us if you are going to arrive later than 6.00pm. If we have not heard from you by 9.00am on the day after you booked to arrive we reserve the right to re-let the accommodation.
    Touring and Tent pitches – the period of your stay is from 12 noon on the day of arrival and 11am on the day of departure. Please report to Reception on your arrival and advise us if you are going to arrive later than 6.00pm. If we have not heard from you by 9.00am on the day after you booked to arrive your booking will be cancelled.
  7. Pets –
    There is a charge for dogs in touring/tent units – maximum of three dogs per booking. Dogs must be kept on leads at all times on the Park and exercised in the designated areas. It is strictly forbidden for pets to be left unattended. All dog fouling on the park must be cleared up. Bags and bins are provided in the dog walks. No liability can be accepted for damage or injury caused by them. All other pets by permission only. Strictly no pets allowed in our hire accommodation.
  8. Cars & Parking –
    One car may be parked beside touring and tent units.  Guests staying in the Holiday Homes must park in the main car park. Holiday home owners can take their car down to their Holiday Home for loading and unloading only. Cars must then be returned to the main car park. All other guests will be shown where to park on arrival. There is a dedicated parking space for The Poplars. Electric cars are not permitted to be charged on pitch.   There are two BP chargemaster points on the park.
  9. Equipment – for hire accommodation –Linen packs may be hired, subject to availability, please note your requirements in advance when making your booking.
  10. Cleaning and Good order – for hire accommodation –
    The hirer is held responsible for the contents of the Holiday Home or Poplars whilst in their possession. A £100 good order / cleaning deposit is taken on arrival. If you leave the Holiday Home or Poplars in an untidy state, you will be charged for extra cleaning. All damages or losses should be reported to reception before departure.
  11. Offshore Pool –
    There is an admission fee to use the offshore pool, the pool rules are displayed in the pool building. Children under 15 must be supervised by an adult swimmer, please note there is no spectator area by the pool. Viewing for other party members who do not wish to swim can be in the café.
  12. Access –
    Our Park is located on a hillside with undulating terrain.  There is limited wheelchair access to some Park amenities.  We have Accessible toilet and shower facilities but the approach to them may well be on sloping ground.

  13. Barbeques –
    Raised purpose-built BBQ’s are allowed. Small disposable ones must be raised off the ground. We are happy to provide bricks for this purpose. No BBQ’s in tents and no open fires or fire pits. Disposable BBQ’s may only be placed in the wheelie bins provided when cold.
  14. General –
    The speed limit is 10mph and is strictly enforced.
    Bicycles, Skate Boards, Roller Skates, Scooters and Kites are not allowed on any part of the Park. (Bicycles stored on bike carriers etc, to be used off the Park, are allowed)
    In accordance with the Civil Aviation Authority’s ‘Drone Code,’ drones cannot be flown within 50 metres or a person, vehicle or structure not under the control of the pilot, nor can they be taken off or landed where the pilot does not have landowner’s permission to do so. The use of drones on Wood Farm is strictly prohibited.
    All vehicles on the Park must be taxed, insured and have passed MOT regulations.
    Learner Drivers are not permitted on the park.
    No trailers without prior permission.
    Macbennet Ltd cannot accept responsibility for loss or damage or accident to any persons or private property, however caused, whilst staying on the Park or using the facilities or amenities. In the unlikely event that you should have any cause for criticism or suggestion during your stay, please bring the matter to the attention of a member of staff so that efforts can be made to meet your requirements or solve any problems. It is considered unreasonable to make criticism in writing upon your return home, should the Park not have been given the opportunity to attend to any matters arising during your stay.
    Finally, Wood Farm is a family Park and therefore the co-operation of visitors will be expected in that, they will not do, or allow to be done, anything which in the opinion of the management is detrimental to the quiet enjoyment or comfort of other people staying on the Park. Anyone not complying with this will be asked to leave and no refund will be given. 
    We reserve the right to amend or add conditions as required.
  15. Exclusions –
    a) Macbennet Ltd shall not be liable for any loss of, or loss or damage to any property including motor vehicles and motor cycles or the like, however caused whether resulting from or caused by negligence wilful act, omission or otherwise of Macbennet Ltd or individual companies operating on the Parks, their servants, agents or concessionaires, or of guests, residents, occupiers or invitees.
    b) Neither Macbennet Ltd nor any individual company operating on the Park nor any subsidiary or associated company thereof shall be liable for any death, injury, loss or damage, directly or indirectly sustained by or occasioned to any person (including persons under the age of 18 years) save in so far as such death or injury results from the negligence of the said Macbennet Ltd or the individual company operating on the Parks or any associated or subsidiary company thereof as defined in the Unfair Contract Terms Act 1977.
