Our Dog Guide

Dogs

Dogs and their owners make up a high proportion of our customers so we have gathered together some information that we hope will be helpful to make you and your dogs holiday a good one.

On the park

The normal rules apply and so we ask you to keep your dog on a lead and always clear up after your dog.  Dogs are not allowed in any of our park buildings.  Please don’t allow your dog to cause a nuisance to other guests.
We have two dog walks with dog bags and waste bins at the entrance.  Dogs can run free in these areas if you are happy that they are safe to do so.  Both dog walks are fenced but not necessarily completely secure.   Our shop sells a small selection of dog food and other doggie items.  The Hardown toilet block has an outside, warm water dog shower for any necessary or even unnecessary pampering.   We have extended and covered our cafe terrace and now we can offer you and your dog a place to take a cup of tea in the rain or the shine!
You can bring up to a maximum of three dogs per caravan, motorhome or tent.   Unfortunately dogs are not allowed in our hire caravans.   Please do let us know if you plan to bring an assistance dog with you on holiday.

There are lots of places to walk dogs off the park – please see reception for our walk leaflets.
